Stolen IC7400.

Warning to potential purchasers.

The Wakefield and District Radio Society premises was broken into on 28/11/2014

 

An icom IC-7400 was stolen. In the haste to take it the thief ripped out one of the antenna sockets from the transceiver.

The serial number can be supplied by contacting the club Chairman (WDRS).

Two FT221R’s one with the add on digital display, 2m sets.

Original boxes are not available for any of the above.

I am looking to sell or trade these items for some of the following… 

1. A 70cm (200 watts plus, drive region of 5-20 watts) linear amplifier. 
2. Or a 23cm (20 watts plus, drive 1 watt) linear amplifier.
3. Or a 2m (200 watts plus, drive region of 5-20 watts) linear amplifier.

66th Annual General meeting – Tuesday 09th December 2014   Leave a comment

The Isle of Man amateur radio society 66th Annual General meeting is due to take place on Tuesday 09th December 2014 at the Sea cadet hall, Tromode, Isle of Man.

Members are asked to attend at 19:30 hours for a commencement of the meeting at 20:00 hours.

Items to be entered onto the AGM agenda:- Election of committee and what 2015 holds for us all plus any other business.

Refreshments – Tea / coffee biscuits and a chip butty will be provided.
