Shropshire Visitors   2 comments

A group of Amateurs from Shropshire will be on the island from today (Thursday) to do a spot of radio. They will be using the old radar site at Cron Ny Arrey Laa, and QRV on HF-SHF bands.

Whilst visiting them is encouraged, please be aware we are in the middle of nesting season – so please stay to the track and try not to disturb any birds which may be on the land.

Good luck to Martin and the team – hopefully you will get many contacts! Locals can contact the team on 144.600MHz FM as the group use this frequency for operation amongst themselves whilst on “other bands”
