GB4JDF – Special Event Station   1 comment

We are pleased to announce that we will be operating a “new” callsign – GB4JDF has been granted to us to join up with the Joey Dunlop Foundation and celebrate 30 years since the first win on the TT course of Joey Dunlop.

The station will be on air on Sunday 2nd June – Mad Sunday, from the rear of the TT Grandstand in Douglas. We will operate mainly HF bands using either a dipole or vertical or mix of both depending on the number of volunteers operating.

The Joey Dunlop Foundation have commissioned a limited edition QSL card:

The special limited edition QSL Card. Any not used for sending out to contacts will be sold off to aid funds for the Joey Dunlop Foundation.

IOMARS are delighted to be associated with the Foundation, and look forward to many contacts on Mad Sunday!
